Section, 4’X3.5’, 2019
Handmade paper made from Kozo (Mulberry) bark fibers.
Section depicts the cell structure of plants that exists well beyond what can be perceived by the naked eye. The work references the section cut of a plant, as viewed through the microscope. The use of grid in the sheets, speak for the rigid and tight organization of cells within plants. These large 4 feet by 3.5 feet sheets mimic a magnified view of the cell structure in plants.
